How it works

What an agent is

An agent is a small piece of software, built around one job, that uses AI to do the reading and the drafting: sorting an inbox and drafting the replies, chasing a missing form, turning a meeting into a list of actions. It does the legwork. A person in your business still makes the call.

How it worksFree plan first

1. The free plan

You tell us the job. We look at how it is done today and write a one-page plan: what the agent would read, what it would ask before doing, what it would never do, and a fixed price. No charge, and nothing owed if you stop there.

2. We build it

Around the tools you already use. The price in the plan is the price.

3. A practice week

For its first week the agent only drafts. Nothing goes out and nothing is changed, so you can read everything it would have done before it is allowed to do any of it.

4. Your team learns to run it

We train the people who will run it, and they get seats in Stacks Academy.

5. Upkeep

We watch it, and fix it when one of your tools changes. You can switch it off yourself at any time.

What What it is Price
The plan One page, in writing: the job, what the agent reads, what it asks first, what it never does, and its price. Free
A starter agent One job in one place, such as one inbox or one folder. It drafts, and a person approves. $750, once
A working agent One job that crosses two or more of your tools, such as a form and a calendar, or an inbox and a spreadsheet. Yours is fixed in the plan before anything is built. Most land between $1,500 and $3,000. From $1,500, once
Upkeep We watch it, fix it when a tool it depends on changes, and make small changes as your work changes. $95 a month

Upkeep is for each agent, and includes its AI running costs for up to 1,000 runs a month. Beyond that, running costs are passed on at cost. Every agent comes with a practice week before it goes to work, training for the people who run it and up to three seats in Stacks Academy.

Jobs an agent can take onExamples, not past projects

A starter agent

One job in one place, such as one inbox or one folder. It drafts, and a person approves.

  • A shared inbox sorted into piles, with a reply drafted for each message
  • The questions customers ask most, answered in draft from your own answers
  • Meeting notes turned into actions, each with an owner and a date

A working agent

One job that crosses two or more of your tools, such as a form and a calendar, or an inbox and a spreadsheet. Yours is fixed in the plan before anything is built.

  • Quotes drafted from your price list and your past quotes
  • Missing paperwork chased, with each reminder drafted for you to send
  • Requests from a web form put into your calendar or your spreadsheet, for you to confirm
  • Unpaid invoices listed each week, with a reminder drafted for each

Examples of the kind of job, to give you an idea. They are not past projects. Not on the list? If someone on your team does it by hand every week, ask.

The rules every agent is built to

One job, written down

The plan says what the agent reads, what it asks before doing, and what it never does. It is built to that list.

A person approves what goes out

Anything that leaves your business or changes a record is prepared by the agent and approved by one of your people, one at a time. There is no approve-all.

Only the access the job needs

You grant it, through your own accounts, and you can take it away.

You are told what it runs on

The plan names the AI service the agent uses, and what is sent to it.

You hold the off switch

Your own people can stop it, without asking us.

Questions
Do we need to be technical?

No. You need to know the job. We do the building, and we train the people who will run it.

What if it gets something wrong?

It will, sometimes: AI makes mistakes. That is why it drafts and a person approves, and why it spends its first week sending nothing at all.

How long does it take?

It depends on the job. The plan gives you a date along with the price.

What does the free plan commit us to?

Nothing. If you do not want it built, you owe nothing.

Tell us the job.

One job, in a sentence or two. A person replies, and the plan is free.

  • A free written plan first
  • A fixed price before anything is built
  • A person approves what goes out
  • You hold the off switch
