Grass in central Indiana wants different things in April than it does in September. This is what we do and when.
March. Sticks, matted leaves and the first edge of the year.
April through October. Same day each week.
May and September. When the roots can use it.
September. While the soil is still warm.
November. Usually two or three visits.
December through February the mowers are in the shop getting blades sharpened. We do not plow snow.
These are for a medium lawn, 5,000 to 10,000 square feet. Smaller lawns cost less and bigger ones cost more. There is no contract. You pay by the visit, billed at the end of each month.
Each town has its own mowing days, so your lawn gets cut on the same day every week.
Just outside these? Call anyway. If a crew is already on the next street, we can usually add you.
They learn where the sprinkler heads are, which gate sticks, and that the dog needs to be inside first.
You get a short message by 7 pm so you can unlock the gate and pick up the hose.
If it is too wet to mow without rutting the lawn, we skip the visit and you are not charged.
Send the address and we will measure it from the street, then text you a firm price within one business day.
Or call, Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 5(317) 555-0164
